I just had a major overhaul on my lower back, but have degenerative disc disease, bulged discs, etc on upstream to the base of my skull still. It'll get fixed when it becomes a must do.

Gonna have to take it easy on and off the line. Pay attention to where you and your feet are and where the next step is going to be. DON'T BE JUMPING OFF OF STUFF is a big thing.

"degenerative disc disease" is basically wear and tear and middle age people commonly see that diagnosis

I am no doctor but I work with a bunch and I suspect a steroid epidural at either L4/5 or L5/S1 is in your future and should help the inflammation caused by the disc protrusions.

We do them in a series of 3 (as needed)

I worked in the building materials trade just short of 40 yrs. Had back problems off and on. Degenerative disc disease is a commonly used term and effects most all adults as we age. Dr's, chiropractors and other experts put in their two cents worth over the years. The best thing I did when a flareup occurred was walk a mile or two than ice it.
My wife has 2steel rods and a bunch of screws in her spine keeping it stabilized for past 30yrs. Her condition is something a little more serious than any problems I dealt with. From what I see on that report I wouldn't be to concerned but than again I'm just a retired trapper. Good luck and keep active.

BTLowery it goes to my hips often and burns.swiveling motions like sweeping or mopping wreaks havoc on me. Tossing from one side to the other at night takes a minimum of 2-3 minutes. It feels like it’s in my core and there’s a big ships knot pulling everything together tighter and tighter

Try the epidural it works wonders for me smash I’ve got Dr appointment Monday morning hope they give me another one so I can function for awhile

I’ve had lower back pain for awhile… couple years ago I went numb from waste down… went to the cowboy chiropractor in town … he popped my hips and everything went away

… got the pain creeping back in now … may go again

Ice is your friend, I do yoga for stretching, traction is great you only go till you feel a little pressure relief then stay in that position it’ll take awhile but helps, I hang from a chain host by putting a chain under my shoulders and gently lift, you’ll have good days and bad just remember to laugh especially on the bad days because it will consume your life and drive you into depression, I know.

A lot of back pain is from a weak core/hips/back. Get a kettlebell and learn the 2 hand swing. Coupled with planks.
