Anyone watch It?
It's all about how the beaver are going to save the eco system in Yellowstone.

Sounds like Oregon is way ahead of them. Beaver are even going to clean up any junk, clean the water, restore the salmon runs, heck, maybe even do away with illegals and crack cocaine!

Just doing what I want now.

I asked a city worker one day in Eugene Oregon why we don’t just trap these beaver in this ditch. They were putting wire around all the trees! They said It’s Native Habitat! Really you think beavers always swam around grocery carts and stolen bicycles? It don’t make sense

Got a creek runs thru back of my farm. Beaver aren’t always there but when are they’re hard on the trees. That said, when they build their dam, here come the ducks and geese which I l like. I think rats and mink like it too. I trap em but they always come back. Take it as it comes I reckon.

If you want to truly know the mindset of these folks you should read a review of their Bible on the subject: Ben Goldfarb's book "Eager, the secret life of Beavers and why they matter".

Beaver matter a lot to a wild landscape. They make ponds and cut down trees. Eventually the ponds drain and a meadow exists where once there was just trees. The result is a more diverse landscape and that's a good thing for wildlife. Let it happen in Yellowstone but not where the beaver dams flood roads, farm fields, pastures and parking lots. Not where the trees are apple or pecan orchards or in somebody's backyard.

Native habitat then try to starve them by caging off the trees. Make it make sense.
