Guys other than baking soda,,,, is there a way to remove the funk smell from the inside of waders?
Turning them inside out down to the rubber boot parts and letting them air out doesn’t seem to be satisfactory.
Any suggestions???

My knee boots/waders go on a boot dryer with the insoles removed after every use.

Never have an issue with them being smelly

Odoban maybe, it is for wet suits and an antibacterial cleaner.
You can get it on Amazon.

This is the best plan.

Once they get that funk, which I believe is mildew, it's tough to get rid of.

Stuff the boot with newspaper if it can be found. It will absorb most of the moisture, then go on a boot dryer. I made mine from an old pancake hair dryer I stole from my sister. works great!

You should put your boots on a dryer daily or use the insert dryers. The perspiration causes bacteria to grow therefore odor will follow..

They sell aerosol deodorizer shoe spray at walmart from Dr. Schools. It works good for me. Keep your boots dry and do some reasonable maintenance and they will remain odor free.

If you are using neoprene or rubber waders, throw them in the garbage and get breathables.

You'll thank me later.
