How many will be alone, or with just a spouse for Christmas?

Just the 2 of us anymore, everyone we know, and family, is either dead or moved away. Not complaining, it is what it is.... must be more than a few out there....

Same here, the younguns are scattered. Or we were, now its going to be Christmas in the hospital as my 93yo grandmother in law fell last night and broke a hip.

Just me and the dogs although I will be eating Christmas dinner with my nephew and family. I really don't celebrate Christmas since my wife passed away over 8 years ago and my step-kids and adult Granddaughter live across the country.

Just me. Sent the wife to town to warm up with the children and grand children. Going to spend most of the holidays burning firewood.

I am never alone. There are critters everywhere.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Don’t have to be old to be alone on Christmas. I spent a couple on the road in a sleeper berth when I was a younger buck.

I thought I was going to get to. Wife and young'uns were supposed to spend the holidays with her family but they didn't make it one night without the drama erupting so I spent most of the day on the road going and bringing them back. Just to show how petty the MIL is, when my wife told her she was going home she told her she would just donate the kids gifts to charity. Wife told her to go ahead.
