We have several guys in the construction trade on this thread. I have dabbled for 40 years. The story I hear is," young people don't know how to swing a hammer anymore". Any truth in this?

Who is John Galt?

Swing a hammer, stay off of cell phone, be on time, work hard!

I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

Back to boarding beaver.

I used my first tap with the nail to punch through the hide then the second tap was when the hide was on the line and I set the nail. It’s been a while but I think I used a 5d nail. Sharp point. Nails Piled in middle on hide and tap away!
