I agree with Paul 100%. We eat most of the beaver we catch. I've never tasted it on the meat.

You've gotta be pretty radical when processing beaver for food. A knife or glove that touches castor, does not get used again till cleaned.

trapper7 , the beaver that you ate was not handle right, I've cleaned hundreds of beavers and no one has ever said anything about caster taste

You guys are probably right about it not being handled right. The times I mentioned that I tried beaver was beaver that I caught and I did remove the castors from each one which could attribute to the castor tainted meat.


Stop giving them free benefits and they will deport themselves.
