Any tips for putting raccoons up on wire? I know wood is best and we are going to get a couple dozen boards from Top Lot at the FTA this august. BUT my son is branching out from muskrats and scraped and boarded his first raccoon and red fox last night. He has 2 adjustable coon stretchers and a neighbor guy gave him 8 wire stretchers. We were going to use the wire just so he could keep practicing his fur handling. And man our list of stuff to get at the FTA is getting long. I might need a couple more OT weekends

Make sure its centered on the form, pull it down tight (snug) and set your hooks on each side at the bottom of the hide.
You can probably find a YouTube video of someone putting coon on wire that will show you how its done.

I’ve tried looking on YouTube all the ones I find are on modified stretchers. I’ve tried putting a pic of his first one up on here but I can never get pics to load in this site.
