Or possibly something for measuring out the distance between seeds in the garden ? You're friend along the snare line . Allan

GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Green County Wisconsin	I was thinking that tapered square shaft might also fit in a hardy hole aka the hole in an anvil and given it's shape likely be for forming the socket on tools to take a wooden handle America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
