If it’s cold outside you gotta let them sit in the wax until they come to the same temp as the wax, I have found if you just dip them you will have a nasty coating of thick wax.

What I meant to say was a floor polish. I have dipped some in Zep High Traffic floor polish. Appears to coat well, but I haven’t been able to try out them in the ground yet.

I am with Savell. The risk is worth it. If you have an IQ above 70 you should be fine.
