Apparently I'm at fault for all Trumps alleged short comings...My brother from Washington state texted a bazaar message of I'm "allowing the murder of "peaceful" protesters in ICE raids and that I should wake up!"
I never talk politics with him and just try to be neutral with him..after the 3rd insulting text, I finally responded that he should go sleep it off before he goes to far....lol
Of course he had to respond to that too....I swear there must be something in the water out there....he keeps it up and I'll fire him from being my brother... Anyone else have issues with a family member? My brother and i have barely spoken for near 10 years. Hard to believe we were raised by the same parents. Women can definitely change a man.

As Mark Twain once said - "no amount of evidence will ever convince an idiot."

This thread reveals just how bad things really are in our Country. Seems every family have folks like this.
There are some seriously uninformed, uneducated, mentally un-well people all around us. Dang near seems like we're fighting a civil war already.

Ice is doing the same job they have always done it wasn’t them that changes the lawlessness is the difference today. The no illegal enforcement was started during the Obummer reign ICE was not allowed to process them if we picked them up it was catch and release zero enforcement of the rule of law. Extreme cases were the exception but many were released before they could figure that out.
The “story” of him being the great deporter has to be some total fuzzy math BS if he refused to use the main tools at hand to get illegals to ship back just where would he find record numbers then?
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

This thread could easily turn political...especially if I was to mention some things on my mind about all of this.
Guess I'll take Thumper's advice.

In a few years when the other sides jackboot thugs are going door to door they will turn you all in. Better turn them in now to the current jackboot thugs before the pendulum swings back.

Ive got friends and family with opposing views. We're smart enough to not argue about it and LOVE each other with no reservations. I couldn't imagine letting politics or religion impacting the love of my family.

Well said Turtle.
Sometimes I think it just boils down to the having some tolerance and being able to see another point of view. ie: Some of us see people exercising their first amendment rights as domestic terrorists, and some see it as just peaceful protestors.
I guess it depends if it happened at the capital on a Jan 6th or in the streets of a big city in the last week.
