I may have to go back to my 1.5 softcatches, I was hoping the 450s would be the sweet spot for me for fox and coyotes but I can't have foot damage... wonder if Minnesota would make a rubber jaw version of the 450 like they do the 550s?

I have had tremendously better feet (as a percentage) in my rubber jawed traps than I have in either offset or regular jaw traps. Have tried a bunch of them and there is almost always a small cut that gets bigger over time. I bought 11 dozen victor 3 and 1.75 off a guy a few years ago that needed work and put Jc Conner pads on the ones I’ve had time to work on. Have had really good results and am a believer in rubber jaws for live market. Of course the only downside is having to replace the rubber. Even the #3s have been good on the few grey fox I catch. 550 rubber jaws have also been good for me
