i believe this is why my barrels work so well, i will put carcass in them all year if i have them , I believe that the springtime is the most important time to feed the barrels Ibelieve that the mothers bring the kits and they remember years later,


I always put these by small creeks, within, 10 feet or closer , the top only has one pole so it can tip from side to side when it gets heavy with snow, bottom has two poles to stabilize it and you can haul sand and put in the bottom of the barrel's and between the poles for trap bedding , of course I put these on private property have some that are 30-40 years old
