I found this location last year and made a first check catch. Wish I had a hundred more locations like this. Old fallen in building in a brush patch. On a ridge top above a bunch of rim rock. Same thing this year. First check catch. And found a nice old canning jar.

Also got a skunk in a 160 cat cubby. Had him suitcased behind the head and over the hips but was still alive. It’s an older but strong Northwoods 160.

I’ve had places like this on other lines and they always seem to have cats frequenting them. Especially if there are rabbits and pack rats in the building rubble. In this case, there’s both.

I agree with the good location statement. Those structure remnants always seem to draw predators. Like stated they draw and harbor the prey species which is just a magnet for other predators every time they come thru that area.
