Welp, this drunken yankee polar freeze got me.

Cold water line to the shower busted. First time in nearly twenty years. Fortunately, I can access it through a small closet and won't have to lay in cold mud to get it done.

Yup, outside and years ago the floor was made removable for access to the shower fittings. It's a shower tub and if originally reversed the pipes would've been on an inside wall. The closet is just a tiny 16" linen closeton the back wall with the lines underneath the house just inches from my swiss cheese foundation. Original brick piers closed in with block.

Quick fix, easy peasy until I cut the water back on. Got another one in the washroom, a leanto unheated add on for the washer and dryer. It'll wait until morning. Good thing I'm stocked up on water.

We had a do not consume water order issued at four oclock friday that was lifted at ten due to a fuel leak at Hartsfield Jackson that might have reached the Flint where our drinking water comes from. By ten it was determined that it had been entirely confined to the airport property and never made it into the Flint.

Yeah that’s not too bad to fix, just need to make sure the glue is good, it’s really good that they had contained the fuel leak.

I wish they had never said a thing about it. All the local community groups are slap full of morons who swear that they are tasting jet fuel in their water and panicking like a bunch of fools.

Matter of fact I'm expecting a permaban on one for posting are y'all effing morons.

Oh, and fresh glue as it doesn't do for me to keep glue on hand for repairs that only come ten years apart.
