Ethically harvested organic Muk boots. Delivered to my door by an Amish man driving an heirloom dray breed of horse pulling a hand built Surrey made of locally sourced timber.

Kenetrek pac boots. 13". They have been my go too fall/winter ranching boot forever and when I started trapping they filled that role too, high enough to keep most snow out, leather and rubber keep the cactus out, warm wool liners that I can remove and dry overnight. The next pair I get will be the flatter soled ranchers as I am not riding as much anymore.

White's MP boots for office work - 200 days a year at least. Had them for 5 years now. Haven't had to resole them yet but it's getting close.

Xtratuf's for farm work - wear them almost every weekend. Current pair are 8 years old

Crispi Thors for hunting - only wear them hunting. Had them for about 7 years.

I haven’t owned leather boots since I quit hunting the West twelve years ago. I wear Muck boots here for hunting and trapping. I have a pair of Lite boots for moose hunting. They weigh up in ounces, like their name.

Danner waterproof safety toe boots. They last 2 years or more. They stay leakproof for the majority of that time.
I used to buy cheap boots, but I started getting pain in my left leg from sciatica so I decided to step up the quality of boots. A week and a half later I was symptom free, never to return.

Redwing for years. Had to buy a different style since they quit making the extreme loggers in black.

Check out US G.I. extreme muckluk cold weather N1B boots if you are looking for a good weather winter walking boot.
That is if you are in the market for a cold weather boot. You will need to purchase a liner.

I used to buy die hards from years that were built like that. I preferred the wedge soal and tread that would not puck up mud when I was Ironworking. Don't want mud on the bottom of your boots walking iron and the wedg soal have the insude if the heal slip off a beam and make you think your falling.

They were only about $65 and fit me better than the 200$ red wings available at the time.

I used to survey and several of the guys I worked with wore these. I never tried a pair because none of them got over four months out of them kicking out cleanouts in the woods. But they claimed they were very comfortable and lightweight. Know some loggers who wear them also (you can buy them caulked at the saw shops). I went to the White's rough cut caulked logger boots when surveying, expensive but I got four years out of a pair when I couldn't get more than six months out of anything else I tried. Nowadays I don't wear caulks because I am on either a fourwheeler or a snowmachine almost every day, and I can never manage to keep a seat on them for long if I am wearing caulks.

Have you considered a tanned Bison hide for each of your hooves?

I have a pair of Ariat WorkHog boots that work very well, and they make it in my unusual shoe size (13 B, i.e., narrow). They make other pull-on work boots, some of them more affordable, but not in my size.

Some people swear up and down by Douible-H brand. The ones in my size are more expensive than the Ariats, but there are more options and price points if you have a wider foot, some cheaper than my Ariats.

If you're ever in El Paso, stop by the Tony Lama (Justin brands) and Lucchese factory stores.

Keens…bought a pair as a backup for the PNW trip a couple years ago and ended up wearing them. They’re lightweight and waterproof. I liked them so much I came home and ordered another pair just incase they quit making them. Still wearing the original pair hunting/trapping and broke out the new pair for everyday wear at work. Briars have done a number on the cosmetics of the older pair, but they’re still waterproof and comfortable. They have been the only boot I can put 8-12miles a day on and not have a blister. That’s flat land and mountains.
