Everywhere seems to have a dumpster fire, things like X really amplify it. I wouldn't say we enjoy it for that's not true, I for one I have spent 1000's of dollars in your country over the years. It appears though as just Canadian tourism is down almost 6 billion this year, that many don't want to be part of it. I think everyone who is now choosing to travel elsewhere would like to see it like it was before the administration spread a lie about Canada daily, simply to enrage their base to maintain support for certain current policies. (cue the comments from that very easily enraged base. lol)

Funny how all of a sudden there were Muslim refugees sent into all the western countries, but not to their own Muslim countries.
