I trap beaver year round. I have been using Dans with the Muck boot bottoms for comfort and light weight.
I have gone through 3 sets in in 22 years. Six or seven years of hard use is not too shabby for durability.
I can wear them all day long and often forget that I even have hip boots on.

Final decision was the Yoder Wicked chap on a Lacrosse boot. I really appreciate the input from everyone. Sounds like anyone running a line should have these.

On the Dan's, the briar proof layer isn't the actual waterproof part. It's a two part system. The outer layer is the briar proof layer can be removed and used as overalls. The inner layer is the actual part that's waterproof.

While not waders, the Dan's High N Dry briar proof bibs are absolutely amazing. Absolutely perfect for rabbit hunting. Got it for rabbit hunting, now I use it on the trap line as well. If all of their other gear is as high-quality as these bibs, you couldn't go wrong. But I would not wear them in a lot of water or duck hunting or anything like that. They are waterproof, but not "that kind" of waterproof as the seams aren't sealed.

I know you've already got what you needed, but figured I could chime in to help others.
