No one knows we have grey fox in southern mo unless you trap. Granted we have a good coyote population but the foxes are still holding their own last time I took off work to trap I caught equal numbers of fox to coyote.

Those little foxes don't take no crap. Shame I kill them

I don't see distemper doing that. More like a competition for food sources but what do I know. I've watched coyote pups through my rifle scope doing the same jump and pounce on the big yellow butt grass hoppers.
