yote30- You do realize that people can get a tax return refund AND still pay federal income tax, correct...?

If I end up having $20,000 taken out in withholding and over pay by $2,000, I will get that 2 grand back as a refund. BUT I still paid $18,000 in income tax.

Correct..?

You do realize that folks get back thousands that have no job and pay no taxes?

Yes I was surprised to see the western plains and the states in the rockies being that much more expensive then the MidWest.

Retired at 55. I kept my job medical plan. And now I also have Medicare as well. Worth every penny the past 8 years. 2 operations cost me nothing. Many ambulance trips/doctor visits.
