I've got friends who are always trying to drag me down to Cabo; not at all interested. If I want to go somewhere nice, cheap, safe, and warm, it's Costa Rica, Thailand, or Cambodia.

Out of all the Latin countries, Costa Rica is about the only one where you won't get hustled.

It’s no secret or breaking news that travel on the Baja side has always been a little riskier than the Cancun side. Tourism is a huge part of their economy and if you use your head and do your homework, I always felt plenty safe on paid resorts. That’s all in my past, I have no desire to travel out of the country like I used to.

Never really understood why anyone would have a desire to leave home for more than a day or two tops unless absolutely necessary for one's livelihood or to be with family.

Sure there's alot of cool sights to see and possibly good eats but if I can't get there and back over a weekend or if I have to jump through nonsense hoops to travel on a plane then I ain't interested.
