Collected eggs today. Had to double check that I didnt somehow have a turkey in with the chickens.
Those two must've hurt.

That near egg, on the right, probably has at least 3 yolks in it, maybe even 5. That hen may be walking a little funny. LOL

Nessy, I’ve had two tiny eggs in the last 4-5 years. The last was a year ago this spring. Size of a sparrow egg, nothing in them but the whites!

Lee....how about the egg...they forgot to put a shell on...lol

An old fur handler around here...called that kind of egg..a Witches Eye.

We've had some the size of a quarter, always from birds that just started laying.

We get the shell-less ones too at times. Those are wierd.

Luckily, it didn't get impacted. Had one white rock hen that quit laying and was way overweight. Not sure if the weight caused it or vice versa but she was not well so processed her. Pulled out one that size that had three shells, one over the other one.

Those early tiny ones we always called fairy eggs. First time pullets are the usual ones that misfire those.
