Certainly an interesting concept.

The internet does a few things. It allows us to see things that shock us.... since trappers who, pre-internet we would have just of course assumed would vote for politicians that furthered trapping/hunting/guns.... oftentimes do not. I think that is a good feature of the Internet.

But, it also gives us space to nitpick those on the same side as us.... which I think is bad. If someone hates everything the current administration is doing but right now is going "Rah Rah let's eliminate Iran".... that could person could be seen as "good" while someone that loves everything the current administration is doing is doing but says "hey, these tariffs aren't good for our economy" is seen as bad. I think that is a BAD feature of the internet.

Again, an interesting concept. I am certain if we spent time in real life, day by day we would come to the exact same conclusions we did on here about them. So, I don't believe the internet changes our perception.

What is DOES do is expose us wayyyy more to the opinions of other trappers that we would otherwise have been ignorant of if the internet did not exist.

Is that a good thing or bad thing??? I am not sure.......

Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you

I think we would pretty much all get along better in person than we do online. There's much more to.communication than typed words and you miss all that when you're not physically present with another person.

You nailed it Kieth. Some are direct and it comes across like they’re mad, or slight sarcasm that isn’t picked up.
In person is always way different.
At work, talking with livid people over the phone, then showing up on their property to explain what’s going on reveals a totally different person 99% of the time.
