I like some plants, mainly berries and broccoli and such but IDK how a person ever feels full without meat. You can stuff yourself on bread, but it's not a good way to get enough nutrients. I knew a vegetarian girl at work years ago. She was the only truly white person I've ever seen. White like a sheet.

I bought a vegan friend of mine a new vegan cookbook, but it was a hardback... she couldn't lift it.

One of my wife's friends is a vegan. She loves one of our family Christmas cookies we make every year. Haven't had the heart to tell her there is lard in them.

I used to work with people who were life long vegetarians. I tried it for a couple years too. Didn’t notice any more gas from any of them. Or me. That being said, after any night of beer drinking, you couldn’t tell who was a vegetarian and who wasn’t.

Often legumes are a vegetarian staple. Most of us primates are a bit gassy when we consume them.

BTW, I've never noticed beer causing flatulence for me.

Got a cousin that went vegan. Then she went lesbian, guess that means she's no longer vegan.

You should run that past her next family reunion. As we all know, Vegans and Lesbians tend to have great senses of humor.

The cousin that I mentioned is a guy with a husband, with an adopted daughter. Go figure. Don't see him much.
