Hey guys, How much Sodium Benzoate do yall use per gallon of Meat? Can you use to much?

One cup of Sodium Benzoate, dissolved in about one-pint of warm water should preserve most of the clean meats in the gallon size.

You can also add 1 or 2oz. of Methyl Paraben. This is a good mold inhibiter.

I would suggest dumping the one gallon of meat into a 5-gallon bucket so you can Thoroughly MIX in the preservatives!! Good Luck!
