What is Tennessee' definition of aggravated animal abuse?

The reason I ask is that it is mentioned in a bill under consideration that would extend use of deadly force legal grounds in a defense of property bill much like the law the Texas has. The Tennessee version includes animals as property, rightly so, however prevention of aggravated animal abuse would justify the use of deadly force.

Just wondering if this is an AR backdoor thing as we know how they like to do the backdoor thing.

It's mentioned in this video but Branca doesn't go into any detail.

Not at all clear on what you are suggesting by "AR backdoor thing." I'm guessing "they" is the anti-gunners but not sure.

Branca took way to long to get to the point for me to watch the entire video, so maybe I missed something that would make sense of your statement.

AR = animal rights, the antis we deal with as trappers. No pew pew about it.

You know the whole knee jerk "companion animal" legislation that ends up getting some poor trapper or farmer hauled in front of a judge.

I trust nothing put forward as animal abuse laws knowing how it can be used against us.

Would this be when ATF shows up to shoot your dogs?

One of the guys in our church had a dog killing his chickens. He shot at it with a shotgun and ended up killing it. In the Ohio Revised Code, it specifically says that you can kill animals that are harassing livestock. He still got slapped with a $50,000 fine. Judges are crooked nowadays.

Yup, these judges these days are off the reservation.

Free ranging dogs are always a bad idea. The dog owner ought to get a 50,000 dollar fine.

GODARDS LAW!
If it's a companion animal. it should never be left to roam on it's own!
Ohio has a leash law also, but it's never enforced.
Pure anti hunting, trapping, fishing and gun zealots passed the Godards law.
Like they say don't let a criminal get outside the home once shot.

I would like to read about the chicken killer costing so much.
Got a link?

No, I wouldn't even know where to look. Like I said, it's just a guy in our church, and the judges in Meigs County are notoriously crooked. I'm not sure it even made the news.
