Guys, I’ve got a nuisance fox to catch… I thought I might have an outside chance of catching it in an oversized cage trap… but no luck. I know they will work them every once in a great while.
This fox is coming up into a yard and nabbing ducks and chickens…

Urine post set maybe??
I can’t use exposed feathers or fur so I’m not sure what else to use. I would think a dirthole would not work because it’s after the birds.
Suggestions??

I have really good results with standard dirthole and flat sets with a good food bait and gland lure. My thing is to put it right in their face on known travel routes.

A good gland lure is hard to beat.

I have the best luck with giving them exactly what they keep coming back to take, down a hole. And just like Mr. Jameson said, a touch of good gland lure. I’m partial to Foxey by O’Gorman myself. I would imagine if it’s a female she may have a den close.
