One of my favorite things to do when trapping for folks or renting traps out to chicken people. Usually just a single double door though .they always refuse to believe it will work without bait and when there a possum there in the morning it's low magic lol.



Still trying to figure out a simpler trigger mechanism though because anything past the little trigger hook thing confuses the tar out of folks

double drop door like what you just made but with 2 doors just make it a touch loner figure out what the distance is across a typical small car back seat make it that wide , you could use one rod to hold both doors open a center treadle to pull that rotate that bar down they could flip it over set it then roll it back over carefully
