I live 30 miles from Canada. The Canadiens shop over here all the time. No problems. I've hunted in Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland. I found the rural Canadiens to be real good people. We used to go to a hockey game in Montreal every year. We quit going. Those city people were real jerks. I guess that's true of city folks South of the border too.

I’ve travelled to Newfoundland 18 times to hunt moose and caribou. I can’t say I ever encountered anyone there who wasn’t friendly. Some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet. Made some life long friends over the years.

Awesome get them involved. I grew up where the (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) whining and moaning was prevalent at every coffee shop and kitchen table but no one did anything but go to work and hold their nose and vote for the best of the worst. I'm embarrassed to say we let it get to the point its at by bending over and taking it. Its gone so far leftarded that its gonna take our kids, kids to get where we're at today. Unless the shooting starts then that should expedite things.

It is pointless Savell. I just don't have the emotional or mental bandwidth to try to convince people that don't want to be convinced of anything anymore. I have simply started taking note of how folks I know behave...like the ones who were all gung-ho to turn in their neighbors during the lockdowns... Or the "hunters" who support government confiscation of other people's legally obtained property because it's the wrong kind of property in their minds. Those folks don't get help moving, they don't get to borrow the truck, they don't get extras off the smoker... I've never said anything to them, they just quietly got on the "do not assist" list.
My kids have been told from day one that it's perfectly acceptable to question authority and that something isn't right or true just because some empty head in government or school tells you it is. I hope they are able to carry on with heads held high after I'm gone.
For the record, I think most Americans are ok too, no matter which side of the Mason Dixon line they hail from LOL. Hopefully some of us can enjoy a few trashy lite beers together sometime soon.
