I started wearing them on a regular basis because I have lost some junk in the truck grin
I have a elastic neoprene set that I picked up because they are wide(2") and stretchy
But I sweat something terrible where there cross my shoulders and back
For those that wear them outside, what type if any are a good choice for the summer heat?

Thanks

Been wearing them for years, got nothing to hold my pants up!, lol
Haven't noticed sweating too bad, mine are elastic, but kind of a nubby texture, not tight wove like the regular ones, plus I get the inch and a quarter or half, whatever they are...find them on Amazon...also last set have the plastic grippers,TSA version that doesn't set off a medal detector, not that I go anywhere, but found they grip better than the metal chinesium ones....

I've been wearing the same set of Carhartt suspenders for years, they last. The back below the patch is elastic the rest is not. I only notice extra sweating under the leather patch on the back.

Carhartt Suspenders

Eh...wot?

Ones like these are nice because they attach to your belt. I don’t know if they would help with your sweating tho

Carhartt Suspenders

I like the light color of those. The ones I have are camo, but they do have good clips
Having to adapt to the heat each summer gets just a little bit harder each year

Thanks for the replies

Seeing I got no (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) ...to hold up my tweeds....

I've been a Deluth suspender guy.

These have plastic hooks ...that hook onto your belt..

And they attach on your left and right sides.

Mine are actually in olive drab color. But I do have a pair of skinnier "good" ones in tan. LOL

I do like the heavy-duty clips on them. Only problem is that after a while (years) they start chewing through your pants. But by then the pants are usually shot anyhow.

Eh...wot?

My pair before the Carhartts were Deluth, they didn't hold up for me.

I wear riggin pants (loggers jeans) with suspender buttons and wear button suspenders. There was an outfit over where I grew up had what they call "special needs" people nowadays make them, and sold them in the local saw shops, etc. I got twenty plus years out of a pair of them, the pair I replaced them with were ordered of the internet (Amazon, I think) and while made out of pretty good material, no way will get that out of them. Ten years, fifteen tops. If my pants don't have suspender buttons, I usually install them, except on my nice "church jeans."

Can't really help you with the sweating issue, only time I really notice is when I am splitting firewood in the summer, and I tend to take my shirt off. Then the suspenders can kind of get gritty and uncomfortable with sweat on the bare skin.

I typically wear these for everything
[Linked Image]
They are a great pair of pants, I wear them until it gets over 80 degrees outside. And the elastic on the back below the waist band keeps me from looking like a plumber, no offense to the plumbers.
I wear the stretchy Carhartt pants through the warm months
The camo ones are great hunting, fishing and trapping pants also
