MB/Duke 450 closed jaw is the only trap you need for all southern land trapping.

Warrior have you seen the new No BS KO. It is a 450 version of the jr. Nice stout trap.

Probably overkill for rats and mink, but workable. Don't know if weasels will set it off though.

Beaver and otter you definitely would want four coiled, while you would want it two coiled for the above critters, but you didnt specify that they had to be one or the other, so I'll give that a pass.

And I don't own any either.

I could live with the 450s as the only land trap down here.

For years, I used SC 1.5s and SC 1 3/4s exclusively while live marketing coyotes and fox. These were top laminated and I kept new #2 music wire springs on 'em. Had over 200 of these traps.

I tried out a dozen MB450s back then and was pleased. At the time, I just wasnt pleased with the price

Make them a double jaw and I’d buy it. Hate absolutely hate to catch dry ground coon in a non double jawed trap. Would work in most of the Midwest and east as well

I have some Duke 450s but mine are offset. I like them, but if I ever buy more they will likely be MBs since they're now cheaper than the Dukes online.

What is the price on those? It's a good looking trap but I wonder how that notch cutout in the jaw will treat a foot.

They are pricey. 30 ea. I have those concerns also. I think I am getting the inside Lams next time. I only bought a couple to see how they do at that price.

Dang. I was guessing $22-$23 each. Why are they higher than the Juniors?
