Rivers are productive to trap here during the spring season traps will be full of beaver every check.
In fall I like to trap the ponds nearby trails and old logging roads so they dont cause washouts on my roads and trails if neglected. In winter because of easy acessability by ski doo trapping the inland colonys is the ticket.
Obviously if you dont trap the inland colonys in winter you need to up the take in the spring and fall to keep the line healthy.
