No, I've had my share of it over the years and don't enjoy doing it anymore. The Air Force bases use to hire us to do the fireworks. Pay was good 30 - 50 cases of beer for our bar.

I work too hard to put it up in smoke!

If im turning it into smoke and noise it will be sending projectiles.

That said my youngest did get some fire crackers and was pretty disappointed with how weak one that looked like an m 80 but blue not red was when he buried it. I knew he would be disappointed but they are at the age its best to twll them but let them learn.

My birthday is the 1st so we have always just a big 4th of July celebration. I have two young grandsons that I spoil, as long as they been working hard for me. This year being the 250th I spent little more. Most of my deputies are bringing their families out here as well, it brings alot of happiness & smiles. And you can't put a price on that.

We do budget stuff but normally have a good time $100 is my limit. Grew up in comyfornia so we couldn’t have them as kids.

A few, and only because of the kids. When the kids are grown I won't be spending another dime on them. Took them to a town show last night. It was okay. A lot better than the last time we went there. So they got to see some big stuff in the sky. What we are doing here will be a lot lower to the ground. We did just get a rain and its still cloudy so hopefully things will be still be damp at dark.

Seems like there are always shooting our stabbing at my home town show. And I suspect the same here in this larger area. I dont like crowds. More people = more chance on dumb people behavior.

Nope....got enough fireworks going off every summer weekend...tonite it will be a constant barrage of sound, like a war zone...I wish I had 1% of the money these people pay for that stuff.....

Hasn't done a thing for me in years, but used to love fireworks on any occasion.

We'll be shooting off a few tonight. I'm usually overly worried about fire, but since we just got four inches of rain I think our woods are safe!

The clowns through the woods have some big boomers...the flock of sheep we have are not liking it.

Nope, I'm with the ones on here that lost interest in that years ago. My wife and I will be hanging out at home comforting our golden retriever that everything will be ok. Last night was a little rough for her with the neighborhood shooting off fireworks.

To each their own though, if you like it have fun but please wrap it up within an hour or so of it being fully dark. No one wants to hear fireworks after midnight. Some here don't get that and it makes me tempted to stand outside their window in couple weeks at midnight and return the favor.
