I was in Desert Storm at age 47. My classmates are impressed and are always asking me about it at reunions. Especially the fat ones who are not physically fit as I am.

Like the majority, I never went to any. I've had a career that made me very public, so I was very easy to find and contact. Figured is someone didn't have the interest in keeping in touch with me after school, I had no interest in going back to see them.

Never been to one never will. If I have not spoken with you in the last 25 to 30 years there is likely a reason. I didnt enjoy high-school. Spent as much time at my wife's as mine with her all od her extracurricular activities. Yet we have never gone to one of hers either.

Went to her best friend from high-schools funeral. We're up in the air about it since they had lost touch over the years. And it was a 2 hr drive each way. Glad we did since the turn out was very small and I found that to be rather sad for her family. But thinking about it turn out for me will likely be just as small and im quite ok with that.

Personally, I never really liked any of them 50 plus years ago.

Zero interest in meeting any of them now.

Life is too short to be irritated by phoney clowns pretending to impress other losers.

I went to a few.
The good lookin girls in High school are mostly blimps or old looking and some of the high school plewky faced dogs really blossomed into real attractive cougars.
A couple of the nerd guys in high school are doing real well for themselves.One guy is a lawyer for lawyers that get themselves in legal trouble-he makes a ton of money-works and lives in NY City.
Another fella owns his own hydroelectric power generation company and designs and builds run of river hydro generating stations all over North America.Another guy was a chemical engineer for a big oil company and has homes in Calgary and Texas somewhere.
All still good people and friendly.All were interested in the Trapping and wilderness lifestyle and bought fur articles.Maybe they just felt sorry for me,lol.
We got another one coming up in september (have one every 5 years),looking forward to it.
The wife doesnt like them and doesnt attend.

Especially thin girls turned out much better.

I had to miss my 10 year sick kids but I would go but im from a small town still live there and enjoy it I can understand being from some big school and not caring

Never been to one because I never got invited. Found out a couple years ago that I WAS invited. Classmate told me he was one of the organizers and everyone was invited via Facebook lol. Never been on Facegirl I told him. Here's my phone number. Next one they had I never got a phone call and found out about it later.

I have my 40th coming up. I was not thinking of going, but one of my friends from HS reached out to me and me if I still skin muskrats on my lap. LOL. I totally forgot, I would have friends over and I would skin the muskrats I caught after school on my lap as we sat around a table I had in my parents basement. I was the only one in my HS who trapped. anyway, my friend told me a few people were asking about me, so I figured I might have to show up. Plus I want to see how bad everyone aged. LOL. I had Bon Jovi hair in HS, I'm bald now.

In HS , I was their neighbor and church guy friend to girls that used me as a way to it iritated the guys they were dating,,.... The guys were all bigger and thought they were bad tough dudes/jocks in HS. They stopped growing,,, I didnt ,,,( I wrestled 102 lbs in 9th g. ). some of them have passed

I haven't went to any of them. Just no desire. I enjoyed high school and am still friends with a pile of the people. Still live in the same town so I see many of the ones who stayed local.

30 yr was last year. Don't think they even had one. Social media kind of took the steam out to them I think. If people wanted to catch up they just do it on there.

2 years ago...for my 50th....got so drunk ..I threw up in a trash can..

Just like the Senior Corn Roast...50 years prior..lol
