Due to the increase in price of bottling and ingredients, lure prices are increasing. Some were trying to get me to raise mine first, because I led the increases the last two times they were raised. I said I would not be the first this time. Here's what the increase will look like - one ounce - $8.00 four ounce - $27.00 and pints - $90.00.

To be expected I guess. It isn't very often that anything gets CHEAPER.

Some have done it already. It'll be a few days for me. The lady who does my online catalog is very ill right now and unable to work.

Mine will stay the same through this season. 2.oz at 8.00-10.00 and 4.oz at 16.00-20.00 Ive been told to raise my prices but I wont do it.

My lures with a limited supply I went to $9 and $30 last fall.

They seemed to outsell the lower priced ones by a wide margin.

We also will be doing a rate increase Paul. No way to get around it. The same reasons you have stated. Ingredients, bottles and all raw materials are up every shipment that we receive.

You have to stay profitable to survive. I think most trappers understand that.

I would hope so. Most trappers are big supporters of tariffs.

I remember when lures were 3.00 to 3.50 and Sterling fur had their mix and match 12 bottles for $35 . Those were the days.

Shotgun shells have doubled the last few-several years but we still pheasant hunt. And I just bought a $1250 shotgun.. .50-1.00 extra for a bottle is nothing

I have tried not to raise my prices doing damage work but it’s coming too. Can’t expect you to sell cheap and live poor. Quality is worth it.
