How the heck did that happen? Did you somehow slap the gun hard enough with your left hand to depress the nose allowing it to fire after you stumbled? I'm just trying to visualize how this happened.

When I stumbled over some rock, my finger was still on the trigger, my left hand was trying to catch my balance and slapped the end of the gun. I tried to. Convince myself this just didn’t happen.

Looks painful. Putting some board on the side of my wifes grandparents camp when I was in my teens mu wifes dad was holding the board in place on a ladder and I was hanging over the edge of the roof. When the nail gun bucked a little from shooting it it slid down the wood and stoped at my father inlaws thumb and fired. Shot through the edge of his thumb splitting it pretty wide.

Boy yours looks painful.

They have me on a round of anti-biotics. Plus they will monitor the piece of wire left in the hand. The doc said it coud possibly do more nerve damage taking it out.

It also has the potential to move around causing problems. My 16 user old has a sliver of steel that brok off and impeded in his hand when he was using a chipping hammer as a punch. They left it in his hand now its causing him pain off and on almost 2 years later
