So I ordered a Polk Battle Sovereignty Secession flag that I'm hoping to fly with my Alberta flag. It is my goal to become a independent Albertan. It seems that there is alot of negativity towards this flag and I'm unsure what exactly it represents due to the mixed bag research I've been reading. Hopefully Savell will give me a history lesson on the true meaning of this flag?

Polk Battle Sovereignty Secession flag That would be the flag designed by Lieutenant General Leonidas Polk aka The Fighting Bishop, he was an Episcopalian Bishop, as his regimental colors. Killed in action at Pine Mountain part of the Batlle of Kennesaw Mountain during the defense of Atlanta. Thanks for the information warrior!

Norwestalta,
I'm glad I could help.
You can find that flag at a few places on the web.
Fly it proudly, in Alberta, Canada.
There is a reason that I belong to "The Sons of Confederate Veterans".
God Bless.
I sure will Bill. Right with my Alberta flag.

are you really sure you want to involve that flag in your secession from Canada.
you understand how the north/union won the American civil war / war of northern aggression ?
Sherman went scorched earth burning everything on his march then stationed a massive occupying force for 12 years after the war.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
