The left is mostly supported by very stupid people, driven entirely by raging emotion, incapable of most rational thought. They are used by the more sinister, manipulative, intelligent left. The left's overlords use buzzwords to control the stupid, raging left's emotions, because they work well and that's all that's needed.

The sheep in "Animal Farm" accurately portray the idiotic, easily controlled masses on the left.
