Unfortunately I don't think Tejas gets that opportunity very often. He does however have that sandy, dust that is immensely easier to see tracks and sign in than my country. Paying attention to sign and what your quarry does will make you a much better trapper.

Snow can teach so much, that's for sure. I would never have known a second coyote visited this set, had there not been a dusting of snow. This was on the edge of an alfalfa field, near impossible to see tracks of anything in the dirt/gravel that is under the alfalfa. But, you can see in the pic the caught coyote in the background, and in the front, there is an L shape. That is where a second coyote came in, peed, kicked back, then walked off.
