Mabye I'm just too poor minded to understand the nicer things in life ...but ... From my understanding these guns are anywhere from $6500-$7500.... For a 4" barrel sbr...thing ... That shoots ammo that on avages is like $60 per 20rd that is shooting like 2" groups at best at 100yd... I mean look if you got the money and it's your thing and it makes you happy ...I can't really be mad but .... I just can't get my head around it lol... Also don't help that apparently a lot do these companies stuff is on of those deals where ....it's not really that good but people just refuse to say otherwise because of the price.

I hear you buddy , 7-8K goes a long ways toward a used car , a roof , a boat
so a 7500 dollar SBR is a little hard to do especially when you could build for a fair bit less something that will do what it does.
or it goes well in a CD and earn interest on it saving for later
the thing we say about people with 100 million dollar houses and 250K cars , they didn't go blow their only 100 million on that house
my brother was just saying the other day he realized he could change his mind set he didn't need to always be thinking about the budget way to do everything , but it is where we came from , you wanted a thing you were looking at how to get it on tight money. he and his wife have good jobs he can afford to step up some on the things he wants.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

There is a bigger issue here that Wolfie is scratching at.
There are many things nowdays that make no sense, are not practical and have really no useful purpose other than to give the owner pleasure.
Its a reflection of a hedonistic bend in society.
A kind of hooray for me and screw everyone else and everything else attitude.
great example of the attitude is the guy who recently killed a woman after running over her boat on the Fox River in Ill about a week ago. He had a pontoon boat with 3 500 hp engines on it, 1500hp on a pontoon boat.

So what should people be forced to do with THEIR MONEY instead of spending it as they wish?

I'm not saying anyone should be forced to do anything with their money.
Hedonism is a real thing.
If you think the best thing is spending on a 1500hp pontoon boat is anything but "hooray for me and screw anyone and anything else" than go right ahead.
If that dude that did that instead spent the money on getting sober and realizing that there other things in life besides something so useless as a 1500hp pontoon I'm sure there is at least one woman would be much happier now.

I don't see it as any business of mine, or anyone else's, what someone does with their money, as long as they aren't greatly, adversely effecting anyone else. The vast majority of people, who are wealthy, are so because of their own abilities and hard work. Poor people are usually poor because of their own lack of ability, bad choices and personal failures. For the most part, people get out of life what they deserve.
How is buying an expensive, powerful boat " "hooray for me and screw anyone and anything else" "? I strongly doubt that thought ever crossed that man's mind.
The problem wasn't the purchase of the boat, it was the operation of it at 80 plus miles an hour, while very drunk, in a no wake zone. The boat owner deserves to be in prison for a very long time. He also deserves to be financially ruined.

Talk about rich guys and boats...got a guy here that has a huge new home on the water, the dock alone had to cost 250,000, his 30 something feet speed boat has FIVE, 300 hp outboards, Five! First time I saw it I had to fourple check what I was seeing, lol....this year he had the rig repainted Pepto Bismol pink, great job too!, lol and here I am worrying he's gonna run over a 50 dollar crab pot, pretty sure you can't see that cork at 2,000 MPH!
There's people with some money, doesn't make them evil,..

It's their money and they have the right to spend it as they please, we also have the right to judge and shame them for being pompous morons with their money. If you buy an$7500 arwannabe you deserve to be shamed.

I just spent almost $6G on a hunting rifle. I love it, but I’ll never do it again……lol. And I shouldn’t have to. You only live once. If you want it, buy it.

If you haven’t picked up one of their bolt guns (especially the SBRs) they are super lite. When you enter the world of tacticool, it’s all about the brand. Remember Sig created a pistol (p320) and rifle (I believe the cross) that was malfunctioning and people were still buying them.
The Q owner is a genius in the fact that he has created a cult fallowing, and people are willing to pay for his product (which is a good product). There is a lot of dumb people out there with money, and a lot of dumber people in debt to look like they have money. So when those people buy guns, I’m a big fan… That’s how I can usually get quality stuff for a fraction of the price.
