marty weatherup trapper M Joined: Aug 2011 Craigmont, Idaho	For a #3 coil spring it is usually a half gallon per set, #3 and 4 DLS a little bit more. My wolf traps are No BS wolf junior and Duke 850s. They take a gallon per set. Those amounts are for encapsulated traps. I try to keep my trap beds as tight as possible to the size of the trap to aid in solid bedding and reduce the amount of waxed sand or dirt I use. Trail cameras and fresh snow have broke a lot of trapper’s hearts.
