I started out 50 years ago with a 12 gauge load all and have used them occasionally all these years. I have converted some to load 2 1/2 inch 12 and 20 gauge for British doubles and use them quite often when I do load development and don't want to set up my PW or I just want to load a box or two.
I almost wish I still had a 410 and a 28 gauge just to try the Lee. I have used a lot of Lee products over the decades and found them to be a good value. I'm still using the Load All I got for my 17th birthday. I turned 67 a couple weeks ago.

you know I don't really see a reason why they couldn't have adapted 410 dies for the classic turret , the priming system would be the primary issue
the dies themselves have plenty of room for a 410 hull , they easily fit a 45-70
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I'll bet a lot of folks started out with Lee Loaders; I did. Bought a 308 Lee Loader when I was 14; 54 years ago. It was a pretty primative tool, but it worked, saved me a bunch of money, and allowed me to shoot alot. Pretty sure I still have it around somewhere.

Sounds like they are already behind on production of the press. Guys commenting on loading forums that their orders haven't been filled yet. Might want to get on a list soon.

200 rounds an hour seems "ambitious" to me.
I can't do that on my Mec progressive loader Its not ambitious,,its BS.I had one of those in 20ga. and went to a Mec.I gave the load all away for free,,and told the guy I gave it to he was getting screwed.

Well, upstate,if you read the whole ad,it says available for 12,16,20,28,and 410,so not necessarily BS. Also,if you were a die hard trap or skeet shooter , i could see it being a pain ,but as a rabbit and squirrel hunter , I've loaded many hundreds , if not thousands of shells for myself and friends , never felt much need for speed. Good way to relax on a winter evening . Loads are just as good as anything else I've seen.

^^^^ the question was can you load 200 rounds an hour with it as advertised. It wasnt a debate about is it worth using if you have nothing else.By the way,When I was shooting three skeet leagues,,,I was shooting(and loading) over 1000 rounds per week. Not including loading all my own hunting loads. With my Mec,,NOT with that thing. And if the loads that produces are "just as good as anything else" youve seen,,,you aint seen many.

Wolfdog91, The Lee's will work fine for low volume. If you get one, watch when you drop shot, even smaller shot often bridges in the drop tube, then dumps all over you and your press when it bumps the top on the return stroke. The hardest part of reloading .410 is finding any quantity of good hulls, especially 3". I have never had any luck using Federals, some guys use them with a roll crimp. I prefer the Winchester and Remington. Never thought I'd see the day when a pound of powder or bag of shot would be just slightly cheaper than a new shotshell press, even a Lee.

No one buys Lee Loaders for high production; not even worth arguing about. However, they are a good value for their intended purpose. The low entry point of lee was the only reasion I was able to get started way back them. Even with it I went back and forth on spending the money. My first hand loads grouped 3/8" at 100 out of the 270 I had. I was hooked and keep using that press untill it failed even though I had bought my 550 a few months before and it was still in the box when my Lee broke. Prompting me to take the time to learn how to get the 550 mounted and set up.
