For religious Jews, there is a figure called the Satan who serves as a prosecutor or "adversary" as a member of God's divine council, as featured in the Book of Job. Their concept of him is a bit different from the Christians.

I believe that they both refer to Satan as the accuser or advisory(sp) Islamic religion uses Satan's personal name and and his position of power name, which I can't spell either one The Jewish religion claims God is in control of Satan and is sorta like God's prosecutor. They sometimes call him the venom of God. I can't spell the Jewish word for Satan either
That's a start

Muslims believe in Jinn, which is where we got Genies from. Their Satan is a Jinn called Iblees and also Shaitaan, Jinn are similar to demons, but a little different, in their belief system. Dogs barking and Donkeys braying, for no apparent reason, during the day, mean there is a Jinn present. When that happens, they are supposed to cover themselves with a prayer blanket and hide in a closet. Muslims believe black dogs are usually Jinn and they are commanded to kill them on sight.
The scarier thing is that in the Qur'an, angels are supposed to be repelled by dogs. Almost every other culture believes demons are repelled by dogs, including European, Asian, South American, African and even Aboriginal ones. That seems to suggest that Muslim angels are actually fallen angels/demons. Islam is an evil religion, so that does make sense.

The Pharisees in the time of Jesus believed in demonic forces and a devil. This evolved when the Talmud was written after the end of the Second Temple period.

… it should have been obvious… but I’ll mansplain it for you
… the Jews believe satan is still in heaven … not ruling over h**
FYI, (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) is empty at the present time. Nor is Satan in heaven or ever going to rule over (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman). (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) is a prepared place for Satan and his fallen angels aka demons when their free rein on earth is over.

Mmmm........ maybe. I think it would be closer to say that they believe Satan resides in all of us rather than in Heaven. Which is actually an idea I could kind of get behind.

Well..... yes Satan is interpreted differently. So, now that you have admitted your first comment, that Jews do not believe in Satan, was wrong, I guess this debate is finished.
I'll be going to bed within a half an hour, and really don't have a debate in mind..... so unless you do I guess nothing. Unless you wanna talk about Trump suspending his own tariffs until after the midterms, but you don't seem to be much interested in those kinda conversations.

Muslims believe in Jesus, known by his Arabic name Isa. They revere him as a major prophet and the Messiah, but they do not view him as the Son of God or divine. A core part of Islamic faith is honoring his miraculous virgin birth and his powerful ministry.
They recognize that he existed at the same time just wasn't the chosen one as we believe him to be..
The Ascension (\(Mi'raj\)): According to Islamic tradition, Muhammad was miraculously transported from Mecca to Jerusalem during the Night Journey (\(Isra' \text{ and } Mi'raj\)). From this specific rock outcropping, he ascended into the heavens to speak with God and meet earlier prophets like Abraham, Moses, and Jesus
The Shared Holy Site: The rock itself is known to Jews as the Foundation Stone. It sits atop the Temple Mount (known to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif or the Noble Sanctuary). This is the exact historical location where the biblical Solomon's Temple and the subsequent Second Jewish Temple stood before being destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE.
Theres a temple on that rock.
