Never under estimate what an old man can or will do. We have a different mindset that the youngsters.

I took 3 days with him in August and he was taking me around his actual trapline. We traveled miles and I know he was just doing his job. He spent the whole time traveling and trapping. At the end he told me to put in a order for anything he had for sale but never said what he recommended. Only said that student got a discount. He answered every question and showed me many things that I never saw or read. Very open with me at all times. He was not as critical on something that didn't make a difference. But very good at location and moving the foot to the trap pan. Also talked about calling shooting poison and snares. All around a government trapper.
