52Carl trapper 5 Joined: Jan 2014 Virginia	When I bought 3 dozen of the big Jakes on the recommendation of someone who literally traps for a living, I was surprised to see the padded jaws. I was not excited about it but went with them as is. I have never looked back. Those pads will last longer than I will. They prevent the leg, foot or toe from moving/sliding whatsoever. When a Jake is sprung, there will be an animal in it.

MChewk trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 Northern Illinois	Many have said this before but... JC and his family are hard working, honest folks who make tremendous products for trappers. The Jake Trap and Little Jake are very well made and are critter catching' machines. IF treated right by trappers, will last a long while.
