Have you ever heard anyone say, “I sure wish I wouldn’t have bought that land”? Heard a guy in SD say that over $500 a acre grazing land, said he was doing fine without it and it caused more stress than it was worth, should of only paid $333 a acre lol. That was 2008, hope he made it work out cause he'd be rich now.
by and large, you're right. Women are almost always awful.

I don't play golf and have no interest in it either. I do play mini golf a few times a year but that would be it. As far as spending thousands leasing, to each his own it's none of my concern. Point being....you spend treasure on what you're interested in.

I spend next to nothing outside living expenses on myself.

Here in my part of Georgia, 140" buck would be the county record with room to spare. I know of 3 or 4 bucks in the 130s in 30 plus years and they all came from the western side of the county that has more ag.
We do grow high scoring cottonmouths and timber rattlers though.

I read all 4 pages and didn't see anything about liability ( I may have missed it ). Here if they hunt for free they can't sue you, but when they pay, someone needs insurance. How much does that cost ? Foxpaw is correct on the liability insurance. My leases require liability insurance, but fortunately it is included in the cost per acre price and is handled by the leasor.

Have you ever heard anyone say, “I sure wish I wouldn’t have bought that land”? I think it every day.

Owning Lots of land is awesome.Paying taxes on lots of lad sucks. Not bad in this county. I pay $534 on 214 acres per year. Still too much for something I’ve paid for once already.

Again, sorry but not sorry for being born in kansas. It is getting harder and harder every year to kill deer though. Everyone thinks its easy. Sure i could go shoot 5 or 6 does in an evening. Public lands getting more scarce and the outfits are leasing more and more. Lose lose. On a sidenote, anyone that wants to come hunt ill let em sit in a stamd. Again mostly all public but its what i got to work with.

It is easy to tell by their comments in this thread who has access to public land or freebie deer hunting.
Ya'll are in a different league of gentlemen. Pube lick land hunting ain’t all it’s cracked up to be!

If you financed it, even a $3000 calf wouldn’t cover even the interest! Anybody that says you can still get into farming or ranching absolute cold turkey is full of it!
