I cook this up in a dutch oven on the campfire.
1 cup corn
1 1/2 t. salt
2 cups tomatoes
1 cup lima beans
1/2 t.black pepper
1 1/2 t. sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 qt. boiling water
Cut up squirrels into six pieces,put them into boiling water in the dutch oven, adding potatoes,onions,corn,lima beans.salt and pepper.
Cover and let simmer for two hours.
Add tomatoes and sugar and simmer for a addional hour.
Add butter and simmer for another 30 minutes.Bring stew to a boil and move it over to the edge of the fire to keep warm while you sneak out of camp for a little more huntin before dark.
