Law Dog trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 35,750 Central, SD	The ground is soaking up the moisture as quickly as it falls no major runoff this year even with the amount of snowfall we had, the creeks have not come up like most years. We did pull about 3/4 of an inch last week just enough to keep things green for a while. We will take what we get but don’t need the hail. Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that! Funny how drinking 8 cups of water a day seems like a lot, but 8 beers in 3 hours goes down like a fat kid on a see-saw.

20scout trapper Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 5,768 West Central MN	We got a good tasting yesterday afternoon. The skys got real dark and the wind picked up but still no rain. Guess I'll need to water my new trees again today. Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

I noticed today that the air is a bit more humid so maybe over the next week or so we can build enough moisture in the air to have some fall out. Typically when we get upper 80s to 90 this time of year we have T-storms as a result. Not this time however. With the wind we are having with the cloudless sky and high temps evaporation is really drying up my rat sloughs. Looks like another short rat population in the making already. Bryce

Heard thunder, thought we'd get some rain. Stayed west of Winnebago. 10 day forecast here has it cooling some next week, but still dry as a popcorn fart for here.
