I once read that the reason indigenous are called Indians is because Columbus thought he had landed at The Indies, unaware he was on North America. No idea if that's factual or not.

All I know is, that if my wife was carrying an unborn child who needed brain surgery, I would want Ben Carson to perform it, not some white guy who graduated near the bottom of his class. I'm with you.
