Just a few trail cam pics…
Apparently deer have gyms or workouts they do cause this joker doesn’t miss a day, lol

My little buddy is still around…

We’re doing our best to keep this one alive until next season. 3.5yrs old and 150” already.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

I was doubting the 150" guess until I saw that last pic of him (from side with his head down.)

Maybe he'll make it thru season. He's on his way to 170".

I was waiting for that. My son has tracked that deer all season and this is his area now. It’s also right behind my son’s house out there, lol. He’s watched him from his porch several times. He said you have to see him in person to realize how big he actually is. He said next year, if he makes it through the season, will be his year. He said he doesn’t think he can handle another year of “hoping” he makes it, lol.
Here’s a pic that I think really shows his size. The camera is on a mock scrape along a trail he uses.

[Linked Image]

They’re estimating 154” give or take an inch from him and a couple buddies sitting and scoring him while watching him from the porch.

We also have this buck that’s new this year on another property. Got his pics beginning of October and he was every few days. We put out feed to try and keep him around but he disappeared the day after Halloween. We figured he had either just moved on or someone shot him.
He showed back up yesterday. Luckily we kept feeding that spot, lol. Again, we think he’s young as well.

He’ll be interesting to see in person. Can’t tell if those are drops or his main beams just go straight down at the end.

I guarantee you the meat hunters would shoot those big ones!

I’d encourage the meat hunters to shoot the umpteen hundred does we have. They could shoot the big ole gals or the yearlings. I’ve found the yearlings are much easier to drag and load up by yourself, lol. The last one I shot I “thought” was a yearling, turned out she was quite a bit bigger than I thought. They could fill their freezers and their neighbors especially if they use rifles. We use archery equipment and have no issues.
