Another adventure for lifetime memories Katrina wiped out Ida a direct hit wiped out Now another headed here and if track doesn't change I'm on east side of eyewall, oh boy Well, now I have a new roof so hopefully house doesn't get flooded. Generators ready. All my quail cages anchored down and covered. Hitched boat to truck so the boat doesn't get rolled around the neighborhood. Everything stored away that can fly away. Yep I think I'm ready.........AGAIN

Again? many people don't move far from where they are born. moving away from friends amd family and all you have ever know is not appealing, and you don't know what you don't know. this is why when looking for land Florida and anywhere at least 3 hrs from the cost was off limits.

Why do people live in Alaska? 6 Months of sun and 6 months of dark and sever cold! But when the sun shines , it's like living in heaven. We have met the enemy and the enemy is us!

I'll put up with hurricanes to live my life where our license plates say sportsman's paradise, and it is. I've never been anywheres like this place. I live where salt meets fresh.
